"The world has become a small village" is a famous sentence that we heard a lot after the spread of the Internet, as if we live with people on another continent as if we are in the same country. This is due to the fact that the Internet connects all countries to each other, which facilitated access to information and services all over the world. As there are many benefits to networking, we will undertake this course
Since there are many benefits to networks, we will, in this course, introduce the science of networks with their components, wired and wireless types, models of interconnections between their parts and the mechanism in which they operate, as well as introduce students to relevant international protocols and standards. We will also discuss the concept of addressing networks and how to divide them up to the identification of the domain (DNS) and how it works, as it links information and addresses with domain names, which in turn provides an easy way for users to interact with and communicate with the network's addresses.
It is worth noting that there is a practical part at the end of the course consisting of four laboratories to learn how to network two devices together, in addition to designing and establishing a wired or wireless network and connecting all network components to a common printer.
But it is very important to clarify that this course is only an introduction to the topic and the beginning of the road, and we will cooperate with the Edraak platform in order to make an advanced course. We hope that everyone benefits.
