Higher level qualifications - limited places

We hope you can find answers to most of your questions here.

You can validate your eligibility through the platform with your Rider ID. All active riders have access to the online short course catalogue on the menu on the left. This catalog is also open to family members and substitutes. Higher qualification certificates are accessible by application for a subset of eligible riders. Take a look at your left menu to discover the content you can access.

As a rider partner of Deliveroo, you can access 3 types of training : 
  • Online Short Courses
  • Languages courses
  • There are also a small volume of riders who can apply for higher qualification certificates.

If you receive an invitation to apply for one of the 100 Deliveroo Scholarships, you can apply for it through the "Certificates" section on the left menu. You will need your Rider ID to apply. 

The courses offered through the Academy last on average 3 months, ranging from 1 hour up to several months. Their length varies depending on the programme. You can see the details of each one in the programme catalogue on the menu on the left. 

These application-based higher qualification certificates allow for 1 person to take 1 certificate. If you choose, you will have access to advisors and coaches who will help you choose the right programme for you and support you throughout the application process and the learning journey.

Once your scholarship is awarded, you have up to the withdrawal deadline (listed in the programme detail) to decide if the programme is right for you. If not, you can follow the steps outlined to withdraw from the programme.

Lynx Educate is a platform that aggregates the training offering for the Deliveroo Academy, and provides advising support to participants. You will find all the learning programmes available to you through the Deliveroo Rider Academy powered by Lynx. If you have any questions about your learning programmes or your eligibility, you can contact them.

To take online higher qualification certificates you need a laptop connected to the internet and equipped with a camera. Short Courses and Languages are accessible by smartphone.

Higher qualification courses are available in English, French and Italian. Short Courses are offered in English, French, Italian, Arabic, and Urdu.
